Installation

Solid, engineered, prefinished, and laminate floors installed to NWFA specifications, across a wide range of species — red and white oak, maple, ash, hickory, walnut, Brazilian cherry and more. Also: custom-built stairs and treads, decorative borders, medallions and inlays, baseboards and transitions, flush-set heat vents, and gym floor installation.

Dustless Sanding & Finishing

Professional dustless sanding, buffing and screening with modern equipment — the dust control customers mention again and again. Stains are custom-mixed on site with your input, tested on the sanded floor first, then finished in your choice of gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or extra matte using low-odour, quick-drying, high-durability commercial finishes.

Recoating & Maintenance

Not every floor needs a full sand. If yours is only lightly scratched and the finish hasn't worn through, a recoat cleans off the top layer of finish and lays down a fresh one — a simpler, lower-cost refresh that extends the life of the floor and reduces how often it needs full refinishing.

Giving Back

One child at a time.

“Each one of us, in some way, rubs against the hunger and poverty of others. We know how to share bread with those who don't have it or those who have less than us. We know how to open our hearts to the needs of our brothers and sisters, who suffer as a result of poverty and scarcity. Sometimes they are ashamed of admitting it, hiding their hardship. One must discreetly give them a brotherly, helping hand.”

Mark's work helping others started with missionary trips alongside his friend Dariusz, a landscaper from Seattle. European Craft contributes to every trip and every project the team carries out.

Together they have been able to assist the poor and the sick in Russia, Belarus, Poland, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda — working on orphanages, schools and houses. The most important work, Mark believes, is help directed toward small children: the company sponsors and sends a group of 45 children in Uganda and Tanzania to school, and recently completed its largest orphanage project yet, in Kenya.
